Tune Up Services we will perform on your computer:

• Remove “Spyware” -programs which invade your computer and communicate with the Internet without your permission. At best they only slow your computer down...at worst they gather information from your computer and send it to their “home base!”

• Repair / Replace System Files –check for configuration errors.

• Uninstall “unneeded” or “unwanted” Programs (After Approval) -MyWeb Search, Limewire, Precision Time, Weatherbug, etc.

• Check Hard Drive Integrity

• Defragment Your Hard Drive

• Perform Necessary Windows Updates

• Update Your Antivirus Software & Scan For Viruses (requires that you have an active anti-virus software subscription).

• Vacuum the Interior -all that dust build-up can cause your computer's fans and "heat sinks" to fail, resulting in burnout of your microprocessor.

• $115 Price valid for drop-off and pickup of a computer by customer. Contact us in advance for drop-off / pick-up appointment.
• If you can’t come to use we can come to you to pick-up & deliver your computer for an additional fee of $65 (Long Island, NY only).
• Is your anti-virus software expired, Clear-Cut Computing can provide and install the latest copy of Norton Anti-virus or avast! for an additional fee.
• Installation of other software is also available.  Cost to install most programs is $25.  Check with us for prices.
• Installation of an alternate browser (Netscape or Firefox), to limit your vulnerability to future spyware infections for an additional fee of $15.
• Hardware upgrades is also available.  We will give you a price quote prior to work being performed.
